About Camp Apohkochi
Camp Apohkochi was founded by Mike and Geri Peters. Mike is a survivor of child abuse, and has a heart to help children recover from their difficult circumstances. Mike has an amazing gift when it comes to working with kids, and they adore him. Watching him work with the kids, sharing his story of survival as a runaway, living on the streets, and turning his life around is amazing.
Mike is active with the Birdville Independent School District and the kids flock towards him everytime he visits any of the campuses.
Camp Apohkochi is family-owned and operated right here in North Richland Hills, TX.
